![]() I’m open to feedback on this feature, especially regarding whether or not it should be a global setting, or per remote. In terms of upload on save, the default is to save on upload. It connects to my ftp server correctly, but when I upload/save the file (in order to save the edits to the original file) it doesnt overrides the original file saving the updates, instead, it creates a new file in my ftp folder: If I edit 'index.php' when i save it sublime text creates a new file 'index.php.1' and the original index.php. You can follow up with me via with what you find. ![]() ![]() If you go to Preferences > Package Settings > SFTP > Settings – User and paste the following, some debug information should be printed to the console (ctrl+`): I presume that you have the timeout set to the default of 5 seconds? It may be that there is some sort of interactive prompt being presented by psftp that the plugin isn’t yet programmed to handle. Psftp is bundled with the plugin, so it should not matter if it in your path. FTP works without problem, but SFTP fails on two servers I’ve tested (connection timeout). Simply install and run cmd + option + o on a Mac, or ctrl + shift + o on Windows, and watch this plugin open the corresponding files for you in Sublime Text, with all the files you’ve changed in your branch. Really impressive!īut I cannot upload anything using SFTP. GitOpenChangedFiles isn’t coy about what it does its name says it all. Then click File->SFTP/FTP->Brower Server to select the corresponding server, you can view the files under. Thanks for the plugin, I’ve just started testing it. Install SFTP plugin under Sublime Text 2. The plugin can be installed and evaluated without a license, and includes a trial period just like ST2. I currently charge for $16 for a single-user license, which allows me to provide a high-level of support. The plugin is installed via Package Control.Įarly in the project I decided to make it a commercial plugin to help keep it going. ![]() The plugin has extensive functionality and support both working off of a server and mapping a local folder to a remote folder. You can see features, screenshots, documentation, changelog and other information at /sublime_packages/sftp. After 8 months of development, testing and a bunch of feedback from initial users, I’m happy to make an official announcement for Sublime SFTP. ![]()
